Clear, honest policies

Last reviewed · April 15, 2026

This page contains draft policy language prepared for attorney review. It is not a substitute for counsel-approved documents. Final versions may differ, and intake paperwork you receive in the clinic supersedes anything posted here.

The following summarizes how Hello You Wellness Center collects information, obtains consent, schedules and bills for services, and handles photography and marketing. Full notices are provided at intake and on request.

HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices (summary)

Hello You Wellness Center is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We use and disclose protected health information (PHI) to provide treatment, obtain payment, and operate the practice—for example, coordinating labs, processing payments, and confirming appointments.

We will not use or disclose PHI for marketing, sell PHI, or share psychotherapy notes without your written authorization, except where permitted or required by law. You may request a copy of your records, ask for corrections, request restrictions on certain disclosures, receive an accounting of disclosures, and request confidential communication channels.

To exercise these rights or file a complaint, contact our Privacy Officer at info@helloyouwellness.com. You may also file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Office for Civil Rights without fear of retaliation. The full Notice of Privacy Practices is provided at your first visit and available on request.

Website & marketing privacy

Information submitted through this website—such as contact forms, newsletter signups, and booking requests—is used to respond to your inquiry, schedule care, and, where you have opted in, send marketing communications. Information entered into our scheduling and client portal systems is handled under those systems' own privacy terms and, where applicable, HIPAA business associate agreements.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site operation and, where enabled, analytics. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in each message. Information collected through this site is not sold.

Florida residents: under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, qualifying consumers may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, email info@helloyouwellness.com with the subject line "Privacy Request."

Informed consent & candidacy

All medical and aesthetic services require informed consent and, in most cases, a review of your health history, current medications, and goals. Certain services—including prescription weight management (for example, GLP-1 therapies), peptide therapy, hormone-related care, injectables, and IV therapy—require additional screening and, where indicated, laboratory testing before we will treat.

We reserve the right to decline, pause, or modify treatment when it is not medically appropriate, when screening results fall outside safe parameters, or when recommended monitoring is not completed. Our providers may recommend that you consult your primary care physician or a specialist before or alongside treatment.

You may withdraw consent at any time. Treatment plans, dosing, and product selection are individualized; nothing on this site should be treated as medical advice, diagnosis, or a guarantee of candidacy.

Appointments, cancellations & no-shows

A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve most appointments. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged a cancellation fee; missed appointments may be charged the full scheduled service price.

Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require us to shorten or reschedule your visit so we can keep other clients on time. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to book future appointments.

Specific fees are disclosed at booking and in your intake paperwork, which govern if there is any conflict with this summary.

Payments, pricing & refunds

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are documented in writing. We accept major credit and debit cards; some services may be eligible for HSA/FSA funds where permitted by your plan administrator. We do not file insurance claims for elective aesthetic services.

Because medical and aesthetic services are performed on the body and cannot be returned, fees for completed services are non-refundable. Prepaid packages and memberships are non-transferable and subject to the terms provided at purchase; unused portions may, at our discretion, be applied as account credit toward other services.

Retail and pharmacy-dispensed products follow the return rules disclosed at purchase. Prescription medications cannot be returned once dispensed, consistent with Florida pharmacy regulations.

Results, photography & testimonials

Individual results vary. Statements and imagery shared on this site, in educational materials, or on social media describe typical experiences reported by our clients; they are not a promise of a particular outcome for you. Factors such as adherence to protocols, health status, lifestyle, and biology affect every result.

We may take clinical photographs as part of your chart to document progress and support safe care. These images are treated as protected health information and are not used for marketing unless you sign a separate photography and media release.

Testimonials are shared with written permission. We do not offer compensation or discounts in exchange for reviews.

Telehealth

Some follow-up visits, prescription management, and consultations may be offered by telehealth when clinically appropriate and permitted by Florida law. Telehealth has limitations: the provider may not be able to complete a full physical exam, and technology interruptions can occur.

Before a telehealth visit you will receive information about how the visit will be conducted, how your information is protected, and what to do in an emergency. You may decline telehealth and request an in-person visit at any time.

Accessibility

We are working to make this site usable by the widest possible audience and follow WCAG 2.2 AA as a target. If you encounter a barrier or need an accommodation to access our services or this website, email info@helloyouwellness.com or call (305) 640-5351 and we will work with you promptly.

Governing law & contact

Services are provided in Miami, Florida, and these policies are governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any part of these policies is held unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.

Questions about these policies, privacy requests, and records requests may be directed to our Privacy Officer at info@helloyouwellness.com or (305) 640-5351, 9660 SW 72nd St, Miami, FL 33173.
